Andrew Griffith CPA provides account reconciliation services for $100 per hour. (National average fee is $109 per hour.*) Account reconciliation is when we compare the accounting records or other sources of information with the statements issued by financial institutions (e.g. banks, retirement fund custodians, credit card issuers, etc.) to determine if any transactions are missing from the accounting records or from the statements our client received.

Andrew Griffith, DBA, EA, CPA (NY), CMA, CIA, CFE, CRMA, NTPIĀ® Fellow has provided account reconciliation services to clients since 2004. In addition to this, he has more than 15 years of experience teaching courses in financial accounting, income tax accounting, and managerial (including cost) accounting to graduate and undergraduate students. Prior to entering both academia and public accounting, he was an expense manager and the internal auditor for a large, irregular route truckload carrier that operated in both the United States and Canada. He once caught the state of New Mexico levying an illegal tax on interstate transfers of products. Another example of his efforts includes catching a major retirement fund custodian's omission of a significant capital gains distributions from their client's retirement accounts. He also caught numerous payroll/settlement statement errors that involved his clients being underpaid by their employer or broker in the trucking industry.
His educational accomplishments include a research doctorate in accounting, a MBA, and undergraduate degrees in accounting and finance. His professional licenses and certifications include the Enrolled Agent (issued by the Internal Revenue Service), the Certified Public Accountant (licensed issued in New York), the Certified Management Accountant, the Certified Internal Auditor, the Certified Fraud Examiner, and the Certification in Risk Management Assurance. He is also a QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor.
