What can you expect when Andrew Griffith CPA prepares your income tax returns?
All clients have access to Andrew Griffith CPA's Client Portal and its App. Income tax clients use this portal to securely submit documents related to their income tax returns and exchange secure messages with Andrew Griffith CPA. Every income tax client completes a questionnaire in this portal that serves as a starting point for a series of additional questions that Andrew Griffith CPA will ask before completing their returns. No work on any taxpayer's income tax returns begins without Andrew Griffith CPA first providing an upfront and transparent estimate for preparing their tax returns. After the estimate is presented via the portal and accepted by a client, that client will then digitally sign the required engagement letter. After the engagement letter has been signed, Andrew Griffith CPA begins working on those income tax returns. Since every set of tax returns has unique circumstances, the timeline for completing these may be longer than originally indicated in the estimate provided.
After the income tax returns are completed and have been electronically filed, every client has the opportunity to receive both a digital copy of the completed income tax returns and a printed copy, which is mailed to the mailing address provided to Andrew Griffith CPA during the income tax return preparation process. In the event that electronically filing of an income tax return is not possible, only a printed copy of that return would be made available.
What happens after the income tax returns have been filed by Andrew Griffith CPA?
The client experience does not end with the preparation and electronically filing of a client's income tax returns. Andrew Griffith CPA strives to build relationships with clients and is accessible all year long to answer clients' questions that are or may be related to income tax matters. Andrew Griffith CPA recognizes that one cannot change the tax character of a transaction after it has happened. Instead, it is better for a client to ask first before the transaction could be finalized if the tax character of a transaction could be changed by taking a different approach. For most situations, Andrew Griffith CPA does not charge for the time spent answering questions of existing clients.
